Soul Transcendence Meditation is the process of moving your awareness beyond your body, mind and emotions and awakening to the consciousness of your Soul – who you truly are. The teachings of Soul Transcendence are universal and have been taught and practised throughout history in numerous different expressions by a variety of teachers and students. In the East it is called Surat Shabd yoga.
In this expression, Soul Transcendence Meditation is taught by the Spiritual Teacher John-Roger who passed in 2016. John Morton is his successor and teaches Soul Transcendence to students globally. There are over 1500 students practising Soul Transcendence Meditation in over 30 countries worldwide.
Soul Transcendence is not a religion, nor is it based on belief. It is a practical process and students are encouraged not to operate out of belief, but instead be guided by their own experience to determine what works and what doesn’t for them.
Soul Transcendence Meditation is taught by The Movement of Spiritual Inner Awareness (MSIA) which is a non-ecumenical and non-for-profit organisation. MSIA also offers a variety of educational resources, courses, retreats and events to support your meditation practice and deepen your awareness and experience of who you are as a Soul.
